Andrew joined Joy of the Game in 2011 and handles communication, marketing and social media strategies while continuing to work as a sports journalist throughout the suburbs of Chicago. Andrew is a two-time winner of the Achievement in Radio Award for Best Sports Reporter from his time on-air at 104.5 The Zone (WGFX-FM) in Nashville, Tennessee, and also spent time as a host and producer at Mile High Sports Radio (KCKK-AM) in Denver, Colorado.
Upon returning to Chicago, Andrew began covering high school sports for ESPNChicago.com and Patch.com, and later returned to the airwaves as a play-by-play announcer for High School Cube. Andrew also serves as an assistant coach for Glenbrook South's Jr. Titans Feeder Basketball Program and the Glenbrook Magic Small Fry Basketball Program; he will assist Mike Springs with the Rising Stars 16U Red & White squads in the spring of 2012 as well.
Originally from Northbrook, Andrew graduated from Glenbrook North High School and earned his degree from Ohio University's E.W. Scripps College of Communications.
